Wellbear Maca is a 600 mg 10:1 extract of maca root (Lepidium meyenii) in each capsule - a 10:1 concentration means ten times more raw root was used to produce one serving of extract. Maca is grown on the Andean highlands above 4000 metres, its tuberous root ranging in colour from yellow to black. The vegetable HPMC capsule contains no colourants, flavourings, sweeteners or preservatives, and suits both vegans and vegetarians. One pack of 60 Capsules covers two months of daily use.

Wellbear Maca contains a 10:1 extract of maca root (Lepidium meyenii) - a member of the cabbage family grown in Peru at altitudes few other crops can survive. In the Andes, the dried root is ground into flour and added to baked goods and drinks, giving a mildly sweet, nutty flavour with a hint of caramel. In capsule form this flavour is not noticeable. The capsule is plant-based (HPMC) and the preparation contains no artificial additives. The packaging protects the contents from moisture and light.
