Olvita Cold-pressed, unrefined grape seed oil is 100% grape seed oil (Vitis vinifera) of Polish origin. Cold-pressed by Olvita Gołuch in Marcinowice.
The oil has a green colour and a characteristic wine-vinegar flavour and aroma – a sensory profile not typically found in standard cooking oils. The manufacturer recommends mixing it with linseed oil – together they provide a balanced blend of omega-6 (from grapes) and omega-3 (from linseed) fatty acids, and the combined flavours complement each other.

Usage
Oil for cold dishes: salads, raw vegetable salads, dressings for Mediterranean cuisine. The wine-and-vinegar profile goes well with salads containing tomatoes, mozzarella, olives and fresh basil. Interesting in dressings for fish dishes. Also recommended blended with linseed oil for a milder flavour and a balanced fatty acid profile. Not suitable for frying. Vegan.
How to use
Caprese salad: drizzle the tomatoes and mozzarella with a tablespoon of oil (12 g = one portion) – the wine-and-vinegar note replaces the vinegar. Blend with linseed oil: 1 tablespoon of grape seed oil + 1 tablespoon of linseed oil = milder flavour + balance of omega-6 and omega-3. Dressing: 2–3 tablespoons of oil with a tablespoon of balsamic vinegar + salt, pepper.
Storage
Store in a cool, dark place. Once opened, store in the fridge. Natural variations between batches (colour, aroma, taste) are typical of unrefined oils.
