The product provides folate in its most bioavailable, active form — as the patented Quatrefolic®, which is the glucosamine salt of (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid. Unlike conventional folic acid, this form does not need to be converted by the body — it is directly utilised by the cells. A daily dose of 1 tablet provides 800 µg of folate.

Folate contributes to the growth of maternal tissues during pregnancy, supports normal blood formation, support normal homocysteine metabolism, support the proper functioning of the immune system, play a role in cell division, support normal amino acid synthesis, support normal psychological functions, and help reduce feelings of tiredness and fatigue.
