Alce Nero Vegetable Bouillon Cubes - 100 g

Alce Nero Vegetable Stock Cubes contain 10 organic stock cubes made with certified organically grown vegetables. Palm oil-free. Each cube, when dissolved in 0.5 litres of boiling water, produces a flavourful stock for soups, sauces, risottos and marinades.

About the product

Alce Nero Vegetable Stock Cubes are a convenient stock base with an Italian organic twist. 10 cubes, 10 g each – each cube, when dissolved in 0.5 l of boiling water, produces an aromatic vegetable stock.

The composition is based on 13.5% organic dried vegetables (onion 5%, celery 5%, carrot 3.2%, parsley 0.3%) – from certified crops. It is distinguished by the absence of palm oil (a typical ingredient in many stock cubes) – organic sunflower oil is used instead. An ideal base for vegetable soups, vegetable stews, risotto, pasta sauces, marinades and stewed vegetables.

Usage

Stock base for soups (vegetable, vegetable soup, pumpkin soup, broccoli soup), risotto, pasta sauces, vegetable and meat marinades, stewed vegetables, one-pot dishes. A convenient alternative to homemade stock – 10 cubes are enough for around 5 litres of stock. Vegan, ideal for vegetarian and vegan diets.

Directions

Dissolve 1 cube in 0.5 litres of boiling water. For soups: add the cube at the end of cooking the vegetables and bring to the boil. For risotto: dissolve the cube in hot water and gradually pour into the pan with the rice. The salt from the stock is sufficient – no additional salt is needed.

Precautions

The product contains 50.7 g of salt per 100 g – one 10 g cube contains approx. 5 g of salt, which is the WHO’s recommended daily salt intake. Use the cubes in one dish per day, especially if following a low-salt diet (high blood pressure, kidney disease). Do not add extra salt to dishes prepared with the cube.
