Vitaler's Natural MCT Oil - 500 ml

Vitaler's Natural MCT Oil is an oil of medium-chain triglycerides, a blend of caprylic acid (C8) and capric acid (C10) obtained from oil palm. Its neutral taste suits coffee, tea, protein shakes and salad dressings, also as part of a ketogenic diet. Suitable for vegans. Not for frying.

About the product

MCT stands for medium-chain triglycerides. The fatty acids in these fats have 8-10 carbon atoms, whereas olive oil or butter mainly contain acids with 16-18. The oil palm (Elaeis guineensis) comes from West Africa; palm oil is pressed from its kernels, and MCT oil is obtained from it by fractionation. The shorter chains make the oil thin and give it a low smoke point. Country of origin: Poland.
